Matrox 4Sight-X offers RS-232 compatible serial interfaces (each controlled by a UART). Each interface is mapped as a COM port so that it can be accessed through the Microsoft Windows API.
Use the Microsoft Win32 library to access and control the serial ports. To view them in a Microsoft Windows operating system, refer to Microsoft Window's device manager, under Ports (COM & LPT). For more information, refer to the Matrox 4Sight-X Installation and Hardware Reference manual.
