MdmrSave

Function Map
Synopsis
Save a SureDotOCR context to a file.
Syntax
void MdmrSave(
MIL_CONST_TEXT_PTR FileName, //in
MIL_ID ContextDmrId, //in
MIL_INT64 ControlFlag //in
)
Description

This function saves all the information about the previously allocated SureDotOCR context to disk, including all of the individual font and string model settings. This information can be reloaded, using MdmrRestore() or MdmrStream().

When you save the context, the preprocessing changes are not saved. Upon restoration, you must preprocess the context again.

Note that this function reference has not been updated for a MIL system added during a MIL update. Refer to the MIL system's release note to see which MIL system’s documentation you should use in its place and any possible differences.
Parameters
This function is not supported on the selected boards.
This function reference has not been updated for the selected MIL system. To show the content of this page, choose a second MIL system; refer to the MIL system's release note to see which MIL system’s documentation to choose and any possible differences.
Parameters
FileName

Specifies the name and path of the file in which to save the SureDotOCR context. The function internally handles the opening and closing of this file. For easier use with other Matrox Imaging software products, files for SureDotOCR contexts should use the MDMR file extension. Predefined SureDotOCR context files are typically distributed with MIL and can be found in a local folder (for example, "C:\Program Files\Matrox Imaging\contexts\"). If you specify a file that already exists, it will be overwritten.

Set this parameter to one of the values below:

Click to summarize MIL_TEXT("FileName") 1

Specifies the drive, directory, and name of the SureDotOCR context file (for example, "C:\mydirectory\MySweetSweetContext.mdmr"). Typically, SureDotOCR context files have an MDMR extension.

To specify a context file on a remote computer (under Distributed MIL), prefix the specified file name string with "remote:///" (for example, "remote:///C:\mydirectory\MySweetSweetContext.mdmr").

(summarize)

1 If you are passing the value in a variable, don't enclose it in MIL_TEXT().

ContextDmrId

Specifies the identifier of the SureDotOCR context to save.

ControlFlag

Reserved for future expansion and must be set to M_DEFAULT.
