After completing the installation procedure, you should test the installation process by running a MIL example. Open the Example Launcher utility from the MIL Control Center, and launch the test program MappStart. This test program allocates a MIL application, opens communication with the default target system, displays a welcoming message, pauses, and frees the system resources. You can verify and edit the code that is executed by clicking on the Edit button in Example Launcher.

Communicating properly

During application development, you can use MappStart to ensure that the software is communicating properly with the target system. To make sure your frame grabber is working properly with your camera, use Matrox Intellicam or run a grab example.
