The Matrox GPU driver uses the GPU (graphics processing unit) and (off-screen) display memory of your display board to accelerate MIL processing, analysis, and display operations. Refer to the Matrox GPU driver release notes for any additions/modifications to this chapter or the MIL Reference.
Note that, to use the Matrox GPU driver, your display board must support DirectX 9.0 or better. For the exact version supported, refer to the Matrox GPU driver release notes . To determine the DirectX version currently in use, use MappInquire() with M_DIRECTX_VERSION.
