Matrox Morphis eDual/Dual Standard, Dual HDC, and Quad each offers an RS-232 compatible serial interface (controlled by a UART). The interface is mapped as a COM port so that it can be accessed through the Microsoft Windows API.

You can control and access the serial port using MsysControl() with M_UART.... Alternatively, you can use the Microsoft Win32 library to access and control the serial port. To view them in a Microsoft Windows operating system, refer to Microsoft Window's device manager, under Ports (COM & LPT).
