Help tips


The MIL help files allow you to print, customize the display, and navigate through the various topics. Each of these features is described within their own section.

  • To print the online help, see the Printing MIL help section later in this chapter.

  • To narrow or broaden the scope of information visible in each MIL Reference topic, you can specify which MIL system-specific information is displayed. To set this information locally, see the Gray menu bar section later in this chapter. To set this information globally, see the Customize MIL Help section earlier in this chapter. For more information about the MIL system-specific information available in the MIL Reference, see the MIL system-specific information section later in this chapter.

  • To change the display for the current reference topic by collapsing or expanding tables, and to save these settings, see the Blue/red menu bar section later in this chapter.

  • To jump to other related parts of the MIL help, see the Gray menu bar section later in this chapter.

  • To learn tips on how to navigate through the help file and use the search function, see the Navigation section later in this chapter.

  • To change the way combination values are displayed in the MIL Reference, see Combination values.
